I’ve got to say that Nintendo of late is doing some interesting things and with its announcement to release a mini version of its Classic Entertainment System they seem to be really peaking people’s interest by offering this nostalgic walk down memory lane for those of us old enough to remember playing the classic Nintendo Entertainment System. When this system is released on November 11, 2016 it will come preloaded with 30 classic games, one controller (yes you will have to pay for a second controller to play head to head) and an HDMI port for easy hook up to your TV. No cartridges to clean by blowing into them, a price tag of $59.99 and the fact that Nintendo will not be developing any new games for this system make it seem like the perfect system at a good price (roughly the price of an XBOX or PlayStation game will make this a strong contender for those of us looking to re-embrace our childhood while introducing the games we played as kids to our children.
